  • Michael Dempsey wrote a post 6 months ago on the relationship between SPACs and deep tech startups, where narative will be the primary driver of value. Interesting to look back and see how true many of this has been.
  • A post mortem on why RethinkDB failed (from 2017), namely the open source developer tool market was a terrible market to be in. So much of this dynamic has changed though with open source developer tools being one of the hottest markets in 2021.
